We moved to Spain May 2006 to live in the picturesque Andalucian Mountains, and we have finally settled here in Campo Cebas, Castril which to us just perfect.

The quiet one!
Ray first trained as a ladies hairdresser, but after three years at college and three months in a salon decided that it wasn't for him! Ray then worked in newspaper and magazine distribution, and after that  moved into office products sales. Next the call of the motor trade, where firstly running a petrol forecourt lead to gaining accounting qualifications and being Company Accountant in a main dealership, and Ray finally worked as an accounting officer with Sussex Police before the move to Spain.

Carol has worked in various jobs, such as dental nurse, bank cashier, Salaries and Wages, managing a tea room, accounts in a Health Club, PA in a manufacturing Company and in the year or so before we moved here worked as a companion and  carer for an elderly lady and gentleman. Carol has always been very creative, mainly with the use of a sewing machine, but also ventured into silk screen printing, photography and design, and more recently a little weaving! Very interested in natural health, organics and Complementary Medicine and  Yoga. Long walks every day with our two dogs.


We lived in and around the coastal town of Eastbourne, East Sussex all our lives, so the move here was quite a big decision for us. Just had to be done before we got too old to enjoy it!
